Cutting-edge technology for lasting quality
The arrangement of a SPS controlled profile chipper line followed by two connecting sorting installations meet the highest demands of quality assurance.
The profiling technology employed together with the double-arbour circular gang saw is without question the most modern and rational means of manufacturing for softwood timber. It enables the sawing of roundwood with a top diameter of between 15 and 53 cm and lengths of 3 to 7,00 m at a feed rate of up to 170 m per minute. It profiles eight sharp-edged sideboards, which are then cut to the desired length by a circular saw, without the need of an edger.
The chips produced through thereby have an approximate fibre length of 25-30 mm.
